Laughing Is Healthy
Laughter Is Good For Your Health!
I have been told that laughing out loud is really good for your emotional health. If that is the case then the woman sitting behind me on this airplane must be one of the most emotionally stable people on earth!
We have been in the air about 40 minutes. Her soft-spoken boyfriend must be hilariously funny because this lady breaks out into a boisterous laugh that surely can be heard from the back of the plane to first class every time.
The thought does also occur to me that she may have a nervous condition. Either way I am anxious to get a look at this woman. I tried to peep between the seats and short of popping my head up over the seat for a quick stare, I guess I will have to wait until we land to get my look.
Healthy Laughing Benefits
I have always maintained that laughing creates your smile and smiling creates better thought patterns and better thoughts attract better energy. Better energy brings better luck! So, people who laugh a lot are luckier!
Laughing out loud does have health benefits*:
When you laugh out loud it does have some health benefits in addition to being fun!
- Laughter relaxes the whole body.
- Laughter boosts the immune system.
- Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals.
- Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
- Laughter increases blood flow and protects the heart.
Arriving in Miami, I noticed that the loud laugher (sounds like Seinfeld) looks pretty normal. Do you think that she knows she is a loud laugher?
