I lived by two simple words when I was a poor student: BULK BINS. Everything is so much cheaper than buying packaged items, and you can get good, quality food. I used to buy multigrain (hot)cereal for less than a dollar per pound, and I also bought lots of stuff like whole wheat spaghetti, dried beans, brown rice, etc.(Oh, and multigrain flour, I baked all my own bread). You can definitely get good food and stock up your cupboards on a really small budget this way, (trust me on that one)! I still shop the bulk bins, (but now I can indulge in things like smoked almonds and hazelnuts, yum)...:)</description>
