    I like the idea of making choices when it comes to diet and would like to draw the attention that those who feel tired… eating right is of course the first step. So many people do not and I had no idea how hard it was to choose better food before. I always thought it was good food not really thinking so much about what is in it like you said but more about what I wanted was low fat. This is an eye opener.

    Well, Barberry and Paula, getting the family on board is sometimes a challenge… which is one reason why I have the CDs too. Just pop them in the CD player when traveling because you are on a healthy program then who ever is in the car listens too. Also, you know that the main reason people don’t want to eat healthy is they think it does not taste good but we can change that with time because healthy food can taste just as good as garbage foods and it is more about the long term cumulative approach to one small choice each day adding up to big results.

    I would love to lose 10-15 pounds but the real issue is my husband who really needs to lose weight and I can not get him motivated. More energy is something that I could use for sure.

    I am so concerned with my kids weight. I do not know what to do. They are already overweight and I don’t know how to cook and work at the same time. They love the Mdonalds and I always run our of time.

    Thanks, Marianne, Glad that you are enjoying the NY tips. The 6 Week program DOES include a shopping list as well as menu ideas. It is real food choices and really just guidelines as we all have different stores and tastes so we kind of make it work for every taste and hopefully give enough ideas on what to look for so you can find the foods it in your neighborhood stores.

    I love these videos Deb. If you could give me real shopping lists in the programs that would be really helpful. I am always in such a hurry when shopping that I can not take the time to decide what to get and just grab. My NY goal is to do better like you said in small steps and help my daughter to stop gaining weight.
