Eating Healthy = Weight Loss

Side Effect Of Eating Healthy Is Weight Loss

Healthy Weight Loss

Most people focus on how to lose weight. The truth is that the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat and live healthy. When you focus on healthy living and do what other healthy people do, then you will get the same results: a healthy life. Healthy people focus on eating nutritious foods. The side effect of eating nutritious foods is weight loss.

Weight loss is negative. Living and eating healthy is positive. When you stop looking for what to avoid, and start looking for what your body needs to stay healthy, then you will lose weight too.

Best Weight Loss Diet

Most diets are restrictive. The best weight loss program is living healthy. Restrictive living, fat-free, sugar-free and even calorie-free diets make it impossible to lose weight. Your body will not let go of excess weight when you are deficient in the nutrients that your body needs. When you focus on nutritionally sound foods and give your body the building blocks of life you will experience an increase in energy, stronger immune system functions, and reduction in weight.

Weight Loss Plans

Almost all of the weight loss plans focus on drastically reducing what you consume either in fat, carbohydrates or calories. It is true that maintaining good health and ideal weight mean that you do not consume more calories that you burn in a given day, but deprivation or restrictive diets do not work for the long term. When you focus on a healthy, natural, whole food diet that includes the nutrients that your body needs, then the side effect will be weight loss.

Health Weight Loss

Shift your focus! Do what healthy people do! Look for nutritionally sound foods that make up a chemical-free diet instead of fat- or calorie-free. Your body needs fats, carbs and calories to live healthy and give you energy. When you focus on what you do want… good health… you will also get the side effect which is weight loss!

Natural Food Diet Prevents Inflammation

Natural Food Diet Is Your Best Medicine

Hippocrates said that ‘Food is Your Best Medicine.’ When Hippocrates said that now- famous line, he had no idea that today’s food would be manufactured to the point of almost not being food any more. ‘Natural food is your best medicine’ is the best way to say it in the 21st century. Over the years, it has become apparent that certain foods have properties that can aid in our bodies’ healing abilities.

Fight Arthritis With Diet Solutions

Over 28 million Americans have some form of arthritis. With more and more side effects being associated with anti-inflammatory drugs, maybe it is time to get back to the “new” Hippocrates’ expression, ‘Natural Food Is Your Best Medicine.’ It is possible that we can avoid becoming part of that growing statistic by consuming a diet rich in properties that assist our joints in doing their job. Incorporating the following foods into our diets will assist our joints in maintaining good health. If you already have arthritis, these same whole foods have proven to be powerful anti-inflammatory solutions. These foods reduce swelling in your joints and promote joint health.

Anti-Inflammatory – Good For Your Joints Foods

  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Turmeric
  • Cauliflower
  • Legumes (specifically adzuki beans)
  • Onions
  • Cabbage
  • Pineapple
  • Cherries
  • Broccoli
  • Walnuts
  • Olive oil

Joint Healthy Soup

This soup is a quick anti-inflammatory joint-healthy dinner. Just throw it together, no measuring. Quantities depend on how many people you want to feed and how hungry you are.

  2. In a large skillet or sauce pan, heat some olive oil.
  3. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add peeled and slivered garlic, sliced cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower florets.
  5. Pour boiling water over veggies to cover. Return to a boil.
  6. Add fresh grated ginger, turmeric and washed and drained (canned) adzuki beans.
  7. Add salmon filets to the top of the veggies-water mixture.
  8. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes or until salmon is done.
  9. Serve topped with a sprinkle of walnuts.
  10. Serve with a side dish of fresh cubed pineapple and cherries.

Yes, you are right, I just made it up….
